Now I will be the first to admit that I have never been the largest fan of Jaguar as a brand. I always felt they were lacking in many ways with quality and in some ways comfort but then would have too much of other qualities; power, torque and noise. But one thing I am a huge fan of is Magnus Walker, so what happens when the two cross paths? A masterpiece.

Performance:

Where to begin? Well first we will find a 5.6 litre V12 under the bonnet (similar but not the same as the standard car) with a whopping 660 hp and 730 Nm of torque. You may think "you just said Jags had to much power, now you say it is a good thing?" Yes. The reason I trust this car more than its original counterpart is that it has been made by real drivers who undertand how to balance this much power throughout a chassis. Just to be sure that we know this car was made for and by real car people, I am confident the 6 speed manual gearbox proves it.

Aesthetics:

One word. Wow. The original car was a very dependable, cool looking car but this is just unbelievable. Massive front splitter to cut through the air, then thread through one of the five vents that instantly shoots the air to the mighty V12. This car is wide... very wide. Just 5 inches smaller than a Lamborghini Aventador which is often referred to as the same size as a bus! The incredible areo disc wheels aslo proves that this car means business providing even more ability to slip through the air.

Moving to the rear, we see an incredibly large diffuser keeping this monster planted and stuck to the floor, swooping boot-lid spoiler to yet again provide a more streamlined and clean cut through the air and besides that it just looks so similar to the original car with the old brakelights and flowing back window.

Price and Rarity:

The people at TWR only plan to create 88 examples of this car and charge £225,000 per car which though this sounds crazy, is not horrific. Though the chasis is much more expensive, the Singer DLS 911 will set you back an unbeliveble £1.5 million so in reference to that - this car is an absolute steal!

So, this is a drivers car made by drivers for drivers and is not hideously expensive. So could this be the Jaguar ediiton of the Singer 911? Only time will tell but all we should do for now is just stare at this masterpiece of styling.

TWR Supercat Score:

Looks = 10/10

Drivability = 6/10

Luxury = 4/10

Power = 8/10

Future/Current Classic = 7/10

Total = 35/50

Looks = 10/10

The super agrresive race car esque look that this car attempts pays off very well and entirely trnasforms it from the donor vehicle.

Drivability = 6/10

Having an incerdible amount of power will mean that this car is very difficult to control so may not be the smoothest drive if on a public street - not a race track.

Luxury = 4/10

It is a race car for the road, you cannot epect too much from it but it does look quite basic and you would not particularly want to do a long drive in it.

Power = 8/10

TWR have done a great job with the power of this thing, enough to be very quick but small enough to not be impossible to drive.

Future/Current Classic Car = 7/10

Looking at this car like a collectors item seems slightly silly, when was the last time you saw someone saying they preffered the Koenig 560 SEC over the normal 560 SEC, they may not be classics but will certainly be remembered.

Overall Total Score = 35/50
