For the last little while, we have known about the Porsche Mission X. We know it will be a rival for the Mclaren W1 and the Ferrari F80 but we have never known for definite what powertrain we are going to be treated to - but we think sadly it may be electric. However, I have full trust in Porsche with this car as after all, look at their past hyper cars; Porsche 911 GT1 Strassenversion, Porsche 959, Porsche Carrera GT and finally Porsche 918 Spyder. When the Taycan was initially being developed I was offered one under the name of the Porsche Mission E so I am 95% sure it will not be called the Mission X and instead have a more realistic name when it comes to production.
Performance:
As I say, we have no definitive drive/powertrain - some people say it has a V10, some say electric. However, the most reliable piece of information (from GT7 of all places) is that it will be an electric AWD car with four electric motors, but no mention on the figures of power or weight.
Aesthetics
Oh wow, if I thought the F80 looked like a Le Mans car! This Mission X really reminds me of the 919 Street that was made as a celebration a few years ago and that car was simply incredible but this is on another level. The smooth but sharp lines are beautiful, double strobe headlights either side are just incredible and finally if you look closely you will see that basically every piece of this car is an air vent; headligths, bonnet, doors, side skirts, roof!

The rear end on this image somehow looks slighty empty but it still looks very nice. A very race car inspired big cabin and flat back just like the Aston Martin Valkyrie, incredible complex but intelligent wheels and finally a big swooping lightbar that you would find on the rest of Porsche's lineup.

Interior:
Even when they make a racecar for the road they still make an interior nicer than Ferrari or Lamborghini. We have some screens but not enough to feel like a digital car, very cool yoke style steering wheel (I am sure it is of a much greater quiality than Tesla) and on the passenger something that looks a lot like a sport Chrono clock but in a very different position to normal.

Price:
Again, as some people reckon it will be a concecpt car we obviousy do not know the price but if we were to estimate it should be a round the £2 million figure. Now, when the 918 Spyder released it was £700,000 so for the price to be way more than double that, it is slightly extreme. However, with the Ferrari F80 being £3.1 million and the W1 being £2.1 million, it is not too bad.
So, what is this car? Well in its current form it is not the recipe for a sucsess story but I think if Porsche put an internal combustion engine it will easily fit into the Porcshe hypercar role. Porsche has always been quite conservative with their price so I predict the £2 million figure is quite true and it will hold its value much better than the F80.
Porsche Mission X Scores:
Looks - 8/10
Drivability - 9/10
Luxury - 8/10
Power - 9/10
Future/Current Classic - 10/10
Total - 45/50
Looks = 8/10:
Fantastic looking front end - very futuristic
Race car esque side silhouette - extremely aggressive
Slightly lazy rear end - not much going on, just the manadatory features
Drivability = 9/10
Porsche never gets this wrong and we know the AWD systems are impeccable
Luxury = 8/10
Very nice place to be - more road car than race car but that is a good thing in a road legal car
Power = 9/10
More than enough power and we know that unlike Ferrari or Lamborghini, Porcshe shall implement a system to control this much power.
Future/Current Classic = 10/10
This car absolutely must be a future classic with its Le Mans technology, great technology and comfortable interior.
Overall Score = 45/50
