Everyone Will Soon Realise

The Mclaren W1 has just realesed and I think it is one of the coolest, sleekest and most beautiful Mclarens ever made. When the P1 launched, it looked like the definitive edition of the Mclaren lineup, reminiscent of the 12C and shaped the 650S, 540, 570 and so on. However, everyone looks at the new W1 like it is an alien and entirely uncomprabale to the predecessor P1 but I think it is very similar. The front looks like a more agressive 720/750S, the side is the exact same sillhouete of the rest of the lineup and though the back does not look similar - it does look very good.

Performance:

The W1 (just like the P1 predecessor) has a hybrid twin turbo V8 made with Formula 1 battery tech - but unlike the P1, this car produces over one third more horsepower making it a 1,258 horsepower monster. This is tied to a Mclaren robotic 8 speed gearbox driving just the rear wheels - sounds just as scary as the P1! Having this much power, means it is the fastest road legal Mclaren ever allowing it to do 0-200 kmh in just 5.8 seconds!

Aesthetics:

People really can not see how similar this is to the 720S but I can see it entirely and I think it looks incredible. Seeing one of these on the road would just be unbelievable with the road presence it has with its evil grin looking front bumber, entirely areodynamic door and side-skirt - not to mention the beautiful wheels.

Everone loved how the P1 looked and how massive the spoiler was and though this may not be as vast, it is certainly more intelligent. I say this becasue just look at the shape and placement of that spoiler. It almost acts as an extension of the engine cover just to make it even smoother to fly through the air. The P1 had a massive spoiler that produced an incredible 600kg of downforce which is very impressive, but that could not hold a candle to this. The car on the spoiler alone creates 1,000kg of downforce - remember what I said about it being more intelligent?

Price:

The price for the W1 is a whopping £2 million pounds, but do not worry they have been allocated to 399 people! Though this is an insane price for a car, it is a super/hyper car and Mclaren know they can charge this so who can blame them?

So, in conclusion I think this car is truly epic but I just think it will take people a short while to realise this is identical to what Mclaren did with the P1. People adore that car so i can not see why the same effect would not happen here.

The W1 looks absolutely incredible and like the final boss of the current Mclaren lineup with the smae deisg ideas but more aggresive and deleoped slightly more.

The rear spoiler is more interlligent than good looking but i have an extreme amount of respect for that with similar to the 750S rear bumper and exhaust.

Drivability = 7/10

It obviously willl not be as stable as a Porsche as it has so much more power but from the past I think this car will be terrifying in a safe and good - just look how incredible the P1 was.

Luxury = 6/10

The luxury will be far superior than of any other Mclaren or Lamborghini but I do not think it will come close to the detial and luxury that Porsche include in their cars.
